Auctions
Auctions are usually deployed to resolve contention sets following Sunrise and Landrush launch phases. In existing namespaces auctions could be deployed as a mechanism to allocate drop-list domains (i.e. domains that are expiring in the normal course of business) or premium reserved domains.
Specialised Consulting
DNS Business is able to provide consulting in all aspects of running a Registry - from marketing to compliance. We have decades of experience in the domain name industry as well as with the migration of a legacy registration system to an EPP system.
Domain Dispute Resolution
Our dispute resolution system is used for all types of domain name related matters. This system can be customised for local legal requirements and conditions.
Rights Validation System
This is a service used to authorise and verify domain creations in restricted zones.
DNS Secondaries and Anycast
We can provide unicast and world leading multicast secondary services through our partners with over 40 locations worldwide.
Compliance Management System
This can be used to manage and track compliance issues between the Registrar and the Registry Operator, as per the Registrar Agreement.
DNSSEC
DNS Business is well-positioned to implement DNSSEC for your namespace, We have implemented and deployed several ICANN compliant DNSSEC enabled gTLDs, including the provision of the DNSSEC implementation plan and deployment for the .ZA ccTLD and related second-level TLDs.
Upon project commencement, DNS Business will provide a detailed DNSSEC Policy Statement (DPS) and plan compiled in collaboration with your Registry Operation. The detailed plan will take into consideration all requirements around the signing module (HSM) infrastructure as specified.
Below is a high-level overview of the timelines for implementing and deploying DNSSEC for a zone.

Preparation (15 days)
Once the DPS is approved, DNS begin setting yp the security world and installing the signer software.
Zone Sign (+1 day)
DNS signs the zone
Tests and QA (+ 3 months)
Testing of key rollover etc. will be run on the GN zone.
Anchor to Root (+2 days)
Once evaluation is complete, the signed zone can be anchored to the root zones under the curatorship of IANA. This step involves BOCRA loggin into the IANA Portal and pasting the DS record.
Settling and Monitoring (+3 months)
DNS will monitor the DNSSEC process to ensure efficient and correct running.
